Erik Schneider brings a passion for business along with deep cyber risk expertise to his role as director at Signpost Six. As a senior manager at KPMG, he was responsible for the research and agile development of a suite of solutions around cyber risk quantification, risk interconnections and board reporting. He also helped international corporate clients across Europe and Southeast Asia in their large scale transformation journeys. During his internship with ING’s Cyber Crime Expertise and Response Team, he researched algorithms to detect anomalous network traversals across NetFlow records using the Apache Spark/Hadoop framework.
Prior to coming to the Netherlands, Erik was a private investor helping clients analyze industries, value companies and manage equity and derivative portfolios. He has an M.B.A. in General Management from Vanderbilt University and spent time in its Ph.D. program in Finance before turning to private practice. In addition, he has a B.A. in History from the University of Virginia and a M.S. in Information Security Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology.
